پھندے شہباز ایک عام سا سبزیفروش تھا. گھر، ماں، بیوی اور دو بچے؛ یہی اسکی کل کائنات تھی. منہ اندھیرے اٹھ کر سبزی منڈی جانا اور پھر سارا دن اسے بیچنے کی کوشش کرنا اسکی کل زندگی. بس ضروریات پوری ہو جایں تو بہت ہے، آسائشیں تو بہت ہی دور کی بات تھیں. پر شاید اسکو معلوم ہی نہ تھا کہ آسائشیں ہوتی کیا ہیں. مگر وہ غصّے کا بہت تیز تھا جس سے گمان ہوتا تھا کہ وہ اپنی محرومی سے اچھی طرح واقف بھی تھا اور اسکی آگ میں جلتا بھی رہتا تھا. محلے میں سب جانتے تھے کہ وہ دل کا اچھا انسان ہے. بس غصّہ جلدی اور زیادہ کر جاتا ہے. اور اسکے غصّے کے پیچھے ہمیشہ اسکے خاندان کی عزت یا صحت ہوتی تھی. کسی نے بازار میں بدتمیزی کی اور گلی بک دی تو اسکی خیر نہیں. کسی بچے کو چوٹ لگی تو بیوی کی شامت آئ کہ تھری لاپرواہی سی ہوا. ماں بتھیرا سمجھاتی کہ ایسے کوفت لینے سے کسکا فائدہ؟ پر وہ بھی کیا کرتا. غصّہ اسکے اختیار میں ہی نہ تھا. ___ شاہ رخ ایک بگھڑا ہوا امیرزادہ تھا جسکو اپنے باپ کی ناجائز کمائی پر بوہت ناز تھا اور وہ اسکا ہر ممکن غلط استعمال بھی کرتا تھا. غرور کے اسی نشے میں دھت وو سب ا...
